French winter garden lounge set in wrought iron, France, 1950s

Rare and elegant French winter garden lounge set from the 1950s.
Updated by its previous owners with wooden seat and back inserts as well as new upholstery, this white lacquered wrought-iron suite comprises two armchairs and a three-seat sofa. The ensemble features refined and intricate ironwork with loops, scrolls, and interlaced details, evocative of the work of designers such as René Prou and Jean Royère.
The foam cushions are comfortable and upholstered in a navy blue and white striped fabric.
Overall in very good condition, with some stains and marks visible on the upholstery (particularly on the reverse side). They may be preserved as part of the piece’s character or reupholstered to suit one’s taste.e, idéale pour des moments de détente avec style.
